Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Storti
Résumé
Giuseppe Storti was born in Lodi, Italy, on August 29th, 1955. He studied Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he graduated in 1980. In 1983 he became faculty member as Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physical Chemistry in the same school. Then, he moved to the University of Padova, Italy, where he worked as Associate Professor at the Department of Inorganic, Metallorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Chair of Unit Operations. In 1994 he became full professor at the University of Cagliari, Italy, Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials, Chair of Applied Physical Chemistry. From 1999 he is Senior Scientist in the group of Prof. Morbidelli at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, Institute for Chemistry and Bioengineering, giving a course on Planning and Process Development.
His main research interests were in mathematical modeling, adsorption separation processes and polymer reaction engineering. His current activity is still focused on polymer reactions. He is coauthor of more than 130 research publications in these areas. He was also working as consultant for different companies such as Solvay Solexis(I), Enichem (I), EVC (UK), Lamberti (I).
